Exemption from the presence of liquid and other wastes:

Metal packagings are accepted provided they run out of your product. Plastic packaging shall be completely free of any contaminant, including the product itself which has been packaged. In the case of packaging waste which has contained paints and varnishes these may only include traces of dry ink.

20 01 01 - Paper and cardboard

Accepted:

Paper and Cardboard Packaging:

  • Compact and corrugated board
  • Paper bags
  • Other paper/cardboard packaging

Paper and Cardboard Not Packaging:

  • Laundry service
  • Magazines and leaflets

  • Filled notebooks
  • Other roles

Forbidden:

  • All packaging containing organic products, food residues, putresctables or hazardous products
  • All packaging that contains cement or has been treated with bitumen or tar
  • Plastic bags
  • Styrofoam

Humidity:

The moisture content should be less than 10%.

15 01 07 - Packaging of glass

Accepted:

  • Bottle
  • Demijone
  • Jugs

Forbidden:

  • Infusible - porcelain, earthenware, tiles, cement, bricks, stones, building materials;
  • Special glass - wire, windshield, ceramic glass, plastic, TV screen, lamps, mirror, glass-ceramic;
  • Pyrex, lead crystals, opal glass, non-transparent glass, tinted glass, among others;
  • Ferrous Metals;
  • Non-Ferrous Metals;
  • Glass from hospitals, clinical analysis laboratories, clinics, among others;
  • Organic materials - paper, cork, wood, among others.

The total contaminants must not exceed 2%.

15 01 02 - Packaging of styrofoam

Accepted:

All kind of packaging that have served to pack dry products, including blending of packaging in various ways, provided that they are thoroughly cleaned and emptied of their contents.

Forbidden:

Non-plastic materials, namely:

  • Glass and metals
  • Plastics burned
  • Containers that have served to wet products
  • Food oils or fats
  • Mineral oils
  • Chemicals, paints and phytosanitary products
  • Toxic or hazardous products

Packaging:

If the material is granulated, it should be packed in non-reusable plastic bags with a volume of 100L or more.

Packaging wood

Accepted:

  • Packaging of untreated bulk wood

Forbidden:

  • Packaging of wood derivatives
  • Wood packaging and / or wood derivatives painted in organic ink without metallic salts
  • Wood packaging and / or wood derivatives treated with organic solvents
  • All wood packaging and / or wood products coated with materials that are not easily disposed of (paper, plastic and metals)
  • All packagings containing cement that have been treated with bitumen or tar or which are contaminated with hazardous waste

Important:

The presence of a single package having the following characteristics shall lead to the rejection of the whole load:
Any packaging that has already contained or been in contact with dangerous products, in accordance with the applicable legislation;
Any package treated with pentachlorophenol (PCP).

Humidity:

The moisture content should be less than 25%.
